Describe Image — the 40-second formula

Sentence 1: what it is. Sentence 2: highest/lowest figure. Sentence 3: trend or comparison. Sentence 4: conclusion or prediction. Stop at 35 seconds — never trailing off mid-word.

Retell Lecture — note nouns, not sentences

Write 8–12 content words while listening, then speak them in a smooth template: 'The speaker discussed X. They mentioned P, Q and R. In conclusion, they argued Z.' Content 3, fluency 5 — that is the scoring math.

Summarize Written Text — one sentence rule

Exactly one sentence, 30–40 words: idea A + comma + connector + idea B + final period. Two periods or two sentences costs the entire item — this is where most 65s lose their 79.
