Why MUET is underestimated

MUET's four papers (listening, speaking, reading, writing) reward exam technique as much as English level. Strong school English does not automatically equal Band 4 — technique coaching typically lifts students one full band.

The writing paper secret

MUET report writing follows a strict Malaysian format. Memorise and adapt source data properly: state the trend, anchor figures accurately, compare, conclude. Budget students lose whole bands ignoring the format.

Speaking paper practice
